Somers Furniture at The New American Home® 2019

This year Somers Furniture partnered with SunWest Custom Homes to design and manufacture outdoor furniture for their show home in Henderson, Nevada. The inspiration was originated from the marble used at the front of the home, it was laced with chartreuse, charcoal and white veins.

Quite a bold step for this year’s house, The New American Homes in the past have had a monochromatic color theme. Designer Suzanne Czar decided this house was going to start with color waves in each room and continue the wave outside.

Somers scoured outdoor fabrics for the perfect color and texture, finally selecting Sunbrella, Pindler, Outdura and Appian. Crafted for both sublime comfort and smashing good looks, you’ll want to linger outside all day from any room in this house. Deep seating, crisp lines, rich texture, it’s almost it’s own lifestyle.

Sun West Custom Homes built a cutting edge, high-tech luxury home in Ascaya that will be showcased at The National Association of Home Builders’ Show on February 19-21 2019, busses taking attendees to 9 Cloud Chaser in Ascaya, 200 people in each bus, and buses running every 10 minutes! Weather did not stop the attendance!

First, Second and Third Time!

This is the third time Somers Furniture was honored to partner with the builder to design and manufacture outdoor furniture that is as swank but relaxed as the house itself. They manufactured all exterior furniture with Blue Heron as TNAH #30 in 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada and again as TNAH #33 in 2016, this time working with Element Design Build in Las Vegas.

Special thanks to Suzanne Czar-Sun West Custom Homes, Dennis Vang-Vangson Consulting, Debbi Somers & Jeanne Hughes-Somers Furniture, and Ozzie Kraft Pools for making this 2019 backyard spectacular!
