Marine Grade is a heavy duty water sealant used to coat and protect our wood framing. Marine grade is a type of waterproof coat used for outdoor furniture used in boats, pools, piers and patio environments. This Marine grade seal protects our framing from moisture and condensation.

Our furniture employs the most durable and state of the art marine fabrics and thread including (but not limited to): Sunbrella and Phifertex. These custom fabrics are flame retardant, antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-fading, high-performance, UV stable and Greengard certified.

If you are in an extreme weather location, additional customization can be done to ensure your furniture can withstand snow, rain, ice, hail, sleet, wind, sun exposure and humidity.

Yes we do have furniture covers. They are lightweight, and resistant to mildew, mold, UV-rays, water, tears and abrasions.

They are designed to fit loosely over the furniture with a drawstring or Velcro straps securing them in place protecting your investment from harsh weather elements.

Furniture Covers are offered for all of our collections in non-fitted and fitted versions.

We use stainless steel hardware so there is no risk for deep, damaging rust. This unique steel has a very low tendency to develop rust. Even pieces that have been left out in hostile weather conditions for years only develop a thin layer of surface rust that can be easily wiped away.

We designed a thick zipper flap of material that covers the zipper. Our cushion covers are waterproof and the zip fastener flap is protected so that water cannot enter through the zipper.

Our furniture is designed with wood framing and stainless steel legs.

The heavy duty framing marine grade wood can also with stand strong heavy winds. Our custom furniture can be modified to withstand any weather condition.

All of our custom outdoor furniture is best protected with fitted furniture covers or by seasonally storing it indoors during harsh weather.

Furniture in marine and coastal areas can be hit with salty ocean spray as well as sand. The sand and dirt can ground into finishes so we recommend washing off debris before polishing it. Conditions vary greatly, therefore furniture in certain environments should be covered and cleaned more than others.

Cushions made of Sunbrella fabric are durable enough to stay outside through the winter, but if you want to store them to ensure that they are clean and ready for use on that first warm spring day, you should store your cushions with care.

While Sunbrella fabrics do not promote the growth of mold or mildew, these microorganisms can feed on dirt and debris on the fabric surface. For this reason, we recommend that you clean and thoroughly dry your cushions before storage.

Begin by brushing off leaves, twigs, pollen and other surface debris. Any remaining stains can usually be removed with mild, soapy water and a soft brush or cloth. If there are more stubborn stains, add bleach to the cleaning solution.
Finally, allow your cushions to thoroughly air-dry before storing in a dry place for the winter. For detailed cleaning instructions, visit our Care and Cleaning page.
